Amanda

She took her first yoga class in 2013 while on a journey for improved physical health. After just 1 class she felt stronger physically and mentally, and never looked back.

She began to realize that modern health is lacking a component of spiritual wellness that directly relates to overall well-being. So the day after graduating from nursing school, Amanda enrolled in yoga teacher training to deepen her understanding of spiritual and physical health and share it with others.

Amanda is a local Chelan resident and a registered nurse.

For fun she loves to road trip, hike, and spend time with friends and family, especially her two boys Mathew and Cody.

Kari

Kari’s drive and energy is both inspirational and infectious… just one Tuesday/Thursday evening HOT Pilates session with her is certain to ignite your entire week for the BEST!

Kari would tell you, “I began my yoga journey with aerial yoga. Fly though the air? Sign me up! I fell in love with the combination of fun and exercise. On a particularly crabby day at work my co-worker asked if I had been to yoga lately; I had not. I realized in that moment how important this practice was for my physical and mental health. Over the years, I experimented with various yoga practices. When I found Hot Pilates, I fell in love all over again! It’s the perfect combination of energy, mindfulness, and physical activity. As an instructor I work to create a warm, welcoming space where I can combine positive energy and fun to create meaningful change in each of our lives.”

Before meeting you on the mat, Kari works as a dynamic powerhouse for Campbell’s Restort as the Event Sales Manager and loves to get involved with community & spend quality time making memories with her loved ones.

Sometimes you don’t know what you’re capable of until you FEEL someone else believe in you first. Kari is a believer, and her influence over your strength and your vision will absolutely be felt on and off the mat.

Jonna

Jonna, a long-time resident of the Chelan community, has been teaching yoga for four years and her go-to teaching styles are vinyasa flow, gentle mix, and aerial yoga.  At the heart of yoga, Jonna loves it all and continues to enjoy being a student to all types of wellness classes. When asked about her personal yoga journey, Jonna said, “I started showing up to yoga classes 10 years ago when I was unhealthy, unhappy, and feeling so much shame and insecurity. Class by class I started to feel better, stronger, and capable of living an amazing life. I began to recognize myself and love it. Yoga continues to heal my mind & body. Yoga is the new rehab!”

When not at the studio, you can find Jonna teaching yoga at our elementary school (during the school year), running her own business she has built: the shared workspace @chelancollective; beautifying the world (makeup artist) through her co-owned business: @chelanglam; and living life to the fullest as a wife and mom to 3 (two daughters, 1 son).
